Need help understanding how to use 3C collets in my Burke #4 vertical milling attachment. Today, Got my vertical milling attachment set up and running today. Had fun milling down some stubs of welded on channel iron off some original castings. (No idea how the parts ended up being welded, but they did, and it was a stout, permanent weld).

I picked this machine up from a fellow in Sarnia for 100 dollars. A Burke #1 mill. It's been highly modified by a machinist to have full 3 axis control. (Normally these machines had lever feed.) No graduations on the handwheels but I am sure I can use a dial indicator for measurement. The spindle and arbor have been redone with an MT2 taper.
